This amazing tv series captured the hearts of the nation, It follows the lives of Bundy family, Al Bundy, a once-glorious high school football player turned hard-luck salesman of women's shoes; his wife, Peggy, a tartish, lazy underhanded housewife with a large red bouffant hairdo, 1960s clothes, unable and unwilling to keep a house hold running and food on the table and able to smell money a mile away; Kelly, Al and Peggy's pretty, promiscuous, dim-witted daughter; able toget by on her looks and blond hair, never neading to learn as life will bring all to the girl with the her looks,and of coarse Bud, their unpopular, girl-crazy, thinks he is gods gift to woman, only to find out the hard way, girls are looking for more than just intelligents,(and the only Bundy who ever attended college). Their neighbors are the upwardly-mobile Steve and Marcy Rhoades. (Marcy later marries Jefferson D'Arcy.) Most storylines involve a scheming Al being foiled by his cartoonish dim wit and bad luck. His rivalry and loathing of Marcy also play a significant role in most episodes. comedy at its whitest and its best.
